CHALLENGE

Granite came to me with a site that didn’t align with their level of professionalism and values in the intelligence operations space.

STRATEGY

Granite already had a logo and a colour palette they were committed to, so this wasn’t a blank page – it was a question of building a brand around what already existed rather than over the top of it. The palette gave us the tone: restrained and hard-edged. From there the positioning did the rest of the work. Granite operate at the intersection of technology, intelligence and tactical precision, and in that world you have to earn credibility. So we stripped out anything that sounded like it was selling. Language got shorter, flatter and more certain. The visual system is technical – precise spacing, sharp geometry andplenty of dark space. The goal was authority for an audience that already knows who Granite are, not attention from an audience that doesn’t.

WEBSITE

Most websites are built to convert strangers but granite-advisors.com doesn’t need to do that. Granite’s work means a low online profile, there are no lead magnets, no urgency banners, no pushy calls to action, because none of that would serve the people actually visiting. The people landing here are already in the conversation: existing clients, partners, and contacts who’ve been pointed towards it. So the site’s job was simply to confirm what they already suspect – that Granite are serious, modern and technically credible. We kept it to a single tight page with a clear statement of what they do, generous space and motion used sparingly so it feels engineered rather than decorated. One small enquiry link and that’s it. It’s a site designed to close a loop, not open a funnel.
